Governance

Telehouse prioritises strong governance by enhancing control procedures, improving ESG data reporting, and ensuring compliance with global standards to build a sustainable and accountable business.

Our Governance Goals

In line with our commitment to fostering sound governance principles, we established two clear goals:

Enhance and embed efficient governance and control procedures to create a framework for success and a sustainable business into the long-term.

Improve data collection, analysis, and reporting of ESG initiatives.

Where We Are Today

Maintaining the trust of our stakeholders is fundamental to our ability to grow a sustainable business. We strive to achieve the highest possible legal and ethical standards. Our policy is to maintain a true culture of compliance with all laws, rules and regulations wherever we do business.

Proactive risk management and compliance

Internally, accountability runs throughout our business where performance management is linked to our business strategy, of which ESG forms a fundamental part.

Externally, we continue to proactively identify, analyse, and address the most significant risks to our stakeholders, ensuring prompt action and continuous improvement.

Telehouse acts to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, laws, and best practices. Our board and ESG subcommittee strive to only engage with suppliers that share our values and can align with our strategy to build a stronger, sustainable, and responsible supply chain.

Commitment to Certifications, Sustainability, and Trust

With ISO 27001 Information Security and ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management certifications, we uphold robust standards in data centre security and business continuity.

Additionally, compliance with the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) and adherence to Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) regulations ensure our commitment to environmental stewardship and transparency in reporting emissions data.

Through these concerted efforts, Telehouse remains dedicated to fostering trust, driving sustainability, and upholding excellence in governance.

Internationally Recognised Accreditations

Accountability runs throughout our business where performance management is linked to our business strategy, of which ESG forms a fundamental part.

Our Initiatives

In our ongoing pursuit of governance excellence, Telehouse is committed to enhancing transparency and accountability through comprehensive reporting on the performance of our sites.

We are actively working towards transparently reporting our ESG performance, using the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards as a framework to ensure alignment with internationally recognised best practices.

Through this initiative, we aim to provide stakeholders with a clear understanding of our governance practices and demonstrate our commitment to upholding the high standards of corporate governance.
