Frankfurt, Germany - 14th July 2015 - Telehouse Germany, a leading global provider of data centre services announced expansion at its Frankfurt facility.
Telehouse operates Frankfurt’s largest data centre campus in Kleyerstrass, the city’s telecommunications hub with a high number of carriers and ISPs located there. The campus includes three data centres that have access to the DE-CIX, the largest internet exchange in the world, as well as direct connection to the Frankfurt fibre ring, resulting in unrivalled connectivity.
Telehouse Germany had recently upgraded its power substation, futureproofing the power supply and providing power to racks of 8kW or higher.
This year, the company has installed two colocation areas, each of 400 sqm in the tier 3+ facility. A large proportion of this additional colocation space was already leased before completion to existing customers and to new customers.
In addition, the company will further increase capacity in Kleyerstrass with four additional data centre areas, these are set for completion in the second quarter of 2016.
The company also has further capacity in existing buildings with eight suites totalling some 3,200 sqm currently available.
