Hiroyuki Soshi - EMEA Managing DirectorBOARD DIRECTOR


Hiroyuki is responsible for the European expansion strategy at Telehouse. With an educational background in Economics from the Rikkyo University in Japan, since joining KDDI Group in 1986, Hiroyuki has held a number of management roles within the sales division. By managing the business relationships with some of Japan’s largest electronic companies, he has been responsible for making KDDI one of the most well-known brands amongst the innovation elite in Japan. 
With a wide product and market knowledge of the telecommunications and IT sector he is well positioned to lead the Telehouse Europe business in diversifying its product portfolio to provide data centric ICT infrastructure solutions.   


Michelle Reid - Sales and Marketing DirectorBOARD DIRECTOR

Since joining in 1997, Michelle has played a pivotal role in developing the Telehouse client base in the UK and France, delivering consistent growth every year for the past decade. This involved managing the sales operations in fulfilling four of its London data centres as well its European sites. In 1994 when Telehouse became home to the London Internet Exchange (LINX), one of the largest Internet connection points globally, Michelle supported the company in becoming the main hosting location for all major ISPs and hub of commercial Internet in the UK. As Board Director of Telehouse Europe, Michelle has been instrumental in developing the Telehouse business strategy in conjunction with KDDI, the parent company. Michelle has also managed the acquisition and joint business ventures of setting up Telehouse data centre operations in Germany and Russia.  

Prior to Telehouse, Michelle worked within a Risk Management role at Barclays Bank for seven years and in Financial Services for the Countrywide Group.  With experience in standardising and streamlining international risk assessment and bank lending policies within the financial sector, Michelle was well positioned to lead the efficient growth strategy for Telehouse Europe.  



Masaki is responsible for Legal, Health & Safety, Compliance and Staff Project - internal culture improvement project.
His objective is to improve business efficiencies consistently so that the company can provide excellent services to all stakeholders and customers.
As Board Director of Telehouse Europe, Masaki has been engaged with business process optimisation which also includes driving collaboration between Telehouse’s global businesses and KDDI group companies.
Since joining KDDI in 1985, Masaki has held various positions within the corporation focused on global telecommunication and data centre business development. From 1993 to 1998, Masaki helped to deliver Telehouse Europe’s first business expansion in Paris and the planning of the second London data centre - Telehouse East. After returning to KDDI headquarters in Japan, where he had continuously been engaged with global data centre development and management, Masaki joined Telehouse Europe again in 2013.



Suzanne Lee - Finance Director

Since joining Telehouse in 1994, Suzanne has witnessed the growth of Telehouse from a colocation facility to one of the world’s most sought after internet hubs.  She has served in a variety of roles, having been responsible for developing the financial policies and processes at Telehouse, annual auditing and financial statements, as well as tax management, treasury and global reporting. Since 2008, Suzanne has been pivotal in the European expansion strategy, managing the acquisition of Germany’s Databurg facility and franchise expansions in Turkey, South Africa and Russia.  
Prior to Telehouse, Suzanne has held financial roles at PIA (acquired by FSA in 2001) supporting the regulation of 4,000 plus companies in the UK conducting investment business with private investors in the financial services market.  
Since 2012, Suzanne has been responsible for leading the procurement strategy for Telehouse Europe and has implemented an environmentally friendly electricity usage strategy.  


Fay Thompson - human resources DIRECTOR

Fay is Telehouse’s Human Resources Director responsible for leading the strategic HR initiatives, the day-to-day delivery of core HR services and driving the people agenda.  She is a member of Telehouse’s Executive Team and reports to MD Hiroyuki Soshi.

Before joining Telehouse in May 2016, Fay held a number of senior HR positions with technology companies such as Vodafone, Sony Europe, O2, Symbian and Cable & Wireless. 
She is a highly experienced, senior international HR professional with a proven track record partnering companies to deliver strategic and operational HR and organisational change.  Her work has provided sustainable value to organisations.

Fay holds a CIPD Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel and Development and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (FCIPD).



Sachi joined Telehouse in 2013 and has played leadership roles in corporate level change programmes. In her current role, Sachi leads strategic and operational performance improvement initiatives working closely with Executive Members across Europe.

Prior to Telehouse, Sachi has been in charge of multi-functional roles from strategic to operational scope, driving company’s performance to its optimal level across multiple industries. Sachi has delivered tangible business results through strategic and transformational programmes for over 20 years to blue chip companies globally including GSK, HP, Vodafone, O2, Goodyear, Nomura, Mondi, SchlumbergerSema, Atos KPMG and Cap Gemini. Early in her carrier Sachi worked for Oki in Japan and Europe for over 10 years as corporate planning officer where she played a vital role in setting up the hub of its European operations and R & D centre in Scotland.

Sachi holds MBA from Cranfield University in the UK and BA in linguistics from Waseda University in Japan. 

Steve mullins - procurement DIRECTOR

Steve is responsible for European procurement and supply chain strategy and operations at Telehouse. Steve studied Engineering Science at Oxford University, with later business management education at INSEAD. 

Steve started his career in the manufacturing sector with roles in R&D, production management and commercial management. Senior procurement positions then followed in an international airline, in commercial banking and in the private equity sector. Steve also spent a number of years in the strategic procurement consultancy sector, latterly in the role of Global managing Director. He joined Telehouse in 2014.

Telehouse benefits from each of those diverse experiences as Steve leads the development of the company’s procurement capability in line with the exciting vision and growth aspirations set out for Telehouse in Europe.
